So I assume a Heavy Metal you are refering to is Lady Cyburn, and part of Apes would be Le Murtiple. Is there also come upcoming additions to both Heavy Metals and ARC that we haven't heard about yet?

There have been mentions of another ARC Supreme named Silverager, a four armed silverback.

If I had to guess, Le Murtiple and Silverager will form one two-pack of minis and Cyburn will form a two-pack with someone else but I don't know who that would be.

OK, there you go then :)

Captain Hadron sounds pretty cool from what little I've read of him.

His powers well that depends.

In which form? He has three.

Found this mention of him:

Captain Hadron & Lady Cyburn: Bad cyborg girls and size-manipulating muscled geniuses? That's what you need to fill out the ranks of Heavy Metal.
Hadron is frighteningly good at using his three-sizes forms, whether he dismantles enemies from inside when in Mini Hadron mode or smack his fists as Giant Hadron. Lady Cyburn... well, she burns stuff, but also provided some great synergies for other Heavy Metallers. The beautiful almost cheesecake sculpt from Jarek Smolka and muscle goodness of Hadron by James van Schaik coming to your town late spring!

Anyone with 3 forms seems like they must be a fairly versatile model to begin with, so I expect there will much to like about him. I'm still not that fond of the artwork for Cyburn though. Perhaps the model will be better.

In particle physics, a hadron is a particle made of quarks held together by the strong force (similarly to how atoms and molecules are held together by the electromagnetic force).

Hadrons are categorized into two families: baryons (made of three quarks), and mesons (made of one quark and one antiquark).

So I'm imagining powers to do with hard energy, possibly magnestism, and/or matter compression.

Check. Blast them...

Check. Make them walking magnets...

Check. Re-arrange them the way you want.

And that is the human sized form.
Mini Hadron is a scavenger and tinkerer while the big one is a bruiser.

The whole concept comes from my fascination with the idea of the hadron accelerator a couple of years ago. I find scientific news bits always very inspiring and love names with "r" in it.

I know what you mean, when I was in a Band in School - no one could understand how I had such a big interest in Science!

I personally couln't understand how people DIDN'T have an interest (if you kwim)?

No; Heavy Metal already have their Level 3 (C.O.R.E.). :)
