Recently we have been playing a few multi player games. 3 or 4 teams.
They are LOADS of fun. Especially when you start making and breaking alliances.

Just been using the basic Quest and Smackdown Plots so far with a couple of Agendas each. Usualy a Lvl5 or 8 team per person.
But I have all sorts of thoughts for new multi-person Plots and Agendas to play about with soon.

How do other run thier 3 or 4 person games?
Free for all? Alliances?
2x 2person teams? Both controlling the same team or 2 seperate ones?
Do you use the Plots and Agendas in the Guide or make your own?

You could get some very nasty and fun combos in these sort of games.
My first thought would be Moonchild, Dr.Merc and Hadron under a secret alliance.
3 rounds of Giant Hadron anyone?

I like the idea of 2 smaller allied teams against one larger enemy team.

For instance 1 player with say 4 supreme models

Teamed with 1 player with 4 supreme models

vs

1 Player with 8 supreme models.

I've done this sort of thing with other games and it changes how you have to think tactically, because as the Single player you need to account for the strategies and tactics of 2 different play styles, while as the teamed up players, you need to not only cope with your enemy, but find a way to work with an ally that makes your actions stronger, or bolsters theirs.

That would run well with a story along the lines of , Heavy Metal and Blood Wtch joining forces to try and stop another Necroplane invasion.

I definatly agree that multi player games add a whole new dimension to play.

I've done a lot of 3 player games. We'll ussualy end up doing a Quest or Smack Down! It's interesting but I like the idea of 2 players working together vs. a third. Never thought of doing that. Gonna steal that idea.
