Power Stunt - Ignition

You are able to set fire to part of the environment with devastating results. Sacrifice this card with an attack that inflicts damage against a building or other scenic piece with a :DEF of no greater than 8. The scenery piece suffers Aftershocks 1 for D6 rounds after the attack. Does not work against water-based scenery.


Power Stunt - Air Ram

Air Supremes only/Personal/One use only, level 1

You can use your air mastery to batter others out of the way. Combine Air Ram (AP 1) with a movement action. That movement may take a course through the positions of other models. On contacting the first model make an opposed roll ( :ENG vs :STR ). If the moving models wins, move the loser the shortest convenient distance from the path of movement (placing the loser behind the moving model if necessary). If the model using Air Ram is successful continue their movement and repeat the opposed roll each model they encounter until the model using Air Ram fails an opposed roll. Objects that can be thrown by :STR 1-4 are automatically moved aside. Power-up affects all Air Ram rolls in a sequence. Any models moved out of base to base do not suffer free strikes.


Power Stunt - Cyber-Link

You are able to briefly use your cybernetic controls to communicate with suitable supremes. This allows a single use of Telepathy 1, but only with Mechanical supremes.

I like this, but think maybe it might work a bit better if it cost 1 or 2 AP and could be used outside of the normal activation sequence (like Twilight). Using it during your turn may just deter your opponent from directing attacks at the specific Supreme. . . if it cost 2 AP to use, perhaps Absorb 1 would make sense with the resource as well?

I suppose I view it as the kind of action to take when already in base to base. In comic books often the big strong guys go toe to toe in such ways, so that was the inspiration.

With these power ups I am aiming for something small (usually a one-off use of skill), so to keep it limited makes sense for me.

What I could look at is something similar (different name of course) with Absorb 1 or 2 (or Absorb 1 and Armored) for the really strong guys (ie a lvl 2 resource).

Leon, that makes sense, I suppose. I was thinking of it more as a Supreme moving out front drawing some attacks and bracing for the impact. I didn't think about it as already in B2B. I do like it being used outside of the regular turn sequence, still.

An alternative at level 1 but with the AP cost you suggest makes sense when you describe it like that. But then Barricade makes sense with that type of situation.

So what about Absorb 1, Armoured and Barricade for the action (AP 2)? Too potent?

Need a good name though.

Indomitable?

Useful for taking out a big building. Use the Place Bomb action (AP 3) in base to base with a building or other suitable scenery item. The bomb activates at the end of the current game round. Treat the bomb as an :ENG 10 attack against the building, and :ENG 6 against any models within 2 inches of the building.

Power Stunt - Throw 'Em Off

You are able to push away those surrounding you. Sacrifice this resource to use Throw 'Em Off (AP 3) to make an opposed :STR vs. :STR roll against each model (enemy or friendly) in base to base. For each point any other model loses by, it is moved 1/2 inch directly away from you in a straight line, stopping on reaching any scenic piece or other models, or the edge of the scenery piece if in an area of scenery already. No damage is sustained by models that are pushed away. Any models that are moved are no longer considered in base to base with you.


Power Stunt - Mind Over Matter

You are able to grit you teeth in the face of adversity. Sacrifice this resource to allow use of a :SPT reroll to reroll a single :STR or :DEF opposed roll.

Did anyone come up with something similar to that?

Sabotage:
misc lvl 2

You managed to get a goon to sabotage a piece of your opponent's equipment. When your opponent declares the use of any non-exclusive device resource, you may discard the sabotage to cancel the use of this device and discard it.

Why should it be villains only? They're heroes, not carebears...
Originally my idea was to cancel one use of the item, meaning discarding it if it was 1 use only, but allowing another use next round in case the target item permitted it. But actually it seems weak that way. On the other hand, it is a lvl 1 resource...
