Hi !

I'm a french enthousiast of Pulp City, and I just got my shipment (starters already on the painting table).
I'm also a fan of the software Magic Set Editor, but not for making Magic card. I make cards for some games I play (Blood Bowl, Song of Blades & Heroes, Warhammer Quest), and now, for Pulp City !
My goal is to have cards in french, to use with kids, friends not fluent in english, or in demonstrations.

Here are my templates : https://github.com/Gulix/MSETemplates/r ... tag/v1.1.0
For the moment, I got the Supremes, Plots and Agendas cards.
The simplest way to discover them is to install Magic Set Editor, then install the pulpcity installer you can fin on the github page, and launch Magic Set Editor to create your cards.

I'm preparing a guide to explain each options in the card, coming next week.

I hope this doesn't bother the Pulp Monsters ?

I'm also getting the cards I'll use (Supremes I got, Plots & Agendas from the book) translated for my gaming use. Can I freely distribute them to other french players ? Is that okay ?

Thanks !

By the way, in order to use the template, you'll need the Komika font : http://www.dafont.com/fr/komika-text.font

There's also a tutorial to use the templates. In french only, but the english one is on its way (monday or tuesday).

Well, the english tutorial is online : http://www.gulix.fr/blog/spip.php?article302

It explains how to use Magic Set Editor, and the specificities of the template.
Any comments welcome, especially if the text is not understandable. English is not my mother tongue, and I translated this by myseld (first try with google translate was way worse).

Have fun !

Minions & Powerhouses are coming next !

Amazing Work, Thanks!

Is there a template for the card Face, or just the play side?

Right now, only the play side, cause I don't need to translate the Card face : nothing to translate onto it, I can use the official cards. Ans the main goal of this project is to get the Pulp City material in my mother tongue, french.
I plan to add the two informations not present on the play side (Minions+ & Base size) on the play side, as options. I need to think how and where.
But that will come after the other cards (Minions, Powerhouse, Monsters, Leaders & Factions)

A new version of the template is available : https://github.com/Gulix/MSETemplates/r ... tag/v1.2.0

The Minions card template is now available.
Speaking of Minions, the Minions+ & Exclusive Minion informations can now be displayed on the Supreme Card.

And some new symbols have been added to the list : the Elements (Air, Water, ...) and the Smash Icon. Intended to show which actions can benefits from the Smash it up ! bonus

Please note that the user guide ( http://www.gulix.fr/blog/spip.php?article302 ) is not up to date. The new functions will come later this week.

Might be a silly question, but how do I install this? I'm using a 64-bit Windows 8 PC...

The link to the user guide should help you to install Magic Set Editor, the Template, and know how to create your cards.
The minions card will be explained later this week, as will be the new stuff on the Supreme.

But you have any questions after reading the user guide (here), I can answer them here.

A new version is available : https://github.com/Gulix/MSETemplates/r ... tag/v1.2.2

It's a minor update, with the origins symbols added to the symbols that can be inserted in the text, and the Powerhouses are in the place !

For the Powerhouses, just create a Supreme card, and go the AP+ area. You can switch the AP+ image to a "Dice+" one, more suitable for the Powerhouse !

This is such a great resource, Gulix. Thanks again. I'm looking forward to being able to do a recruitment side to the cards too! (hint, hint!) Anyway, merci beaucoup!
