Inspired by the work of pulpcitizen, I had to get my hands on a copy of Comic Life and give it a go. I tell you what, it makes you appreciate all the work that goes into making one of his battle reports! Between taking the appropriate photos during the game to actually remembering what everybody did throughout the game. Not to mention thinking up a decent storyline and the appropriate puns!

So here, I introduce my humble beginnings as a battle reporter! Next time I will remember to pack a notepad before the game! It may seem a bit one sided to the heroes, but that's the team I played, so (being my first attempt) their actions are what I could remember best.

Hope you all enjoy, I know I had a blast making it!

Loved that!

I have some Comic Life competition then? Bring it on!

Really, really enjoyed that, and i do hope we get to see much, much more. :)

And more importantly, I am glad the occasional bad puns have been noticed...

Thanks again for the comments and encouragement!

@pulpcitizen - Let the games begin, haha! I really enjoyed making the report, so much so that I'm trying to convince myself not to use comic life as a template for making some "how-to" articles as well. I'll definitely stick to the battle report style though!

@hendybadger - Comic Life is a great tool, very easy to use over all. There are really only a few issues I have with the program (mostly when you are trying to size and move elements), but once you get used to them its a cake walk to do up a report. I'd really recommend it to anyone.

And the best part, you can export the comics to pdf! I just loaded the first report onto my kindle fire, so that I can share it with anyone who happens to be at the flgs! Works out really well and is fully readable when scaled to the tablet!

Think I might have to give it a try then.
Got a report waiting to be written up so this could give a reason to do it.

Great blog and really nicely done on the overview! Any chance of getting the overview as a stacked pdf so potential players could scroll through the pages when put onto a tablet?
