Sharp looking as always Maru! Very monochrome though. I think Chronin needs a bit more color to her to get her to "POP" visually. The green lighting effects are fantastic though. Another cool piece.

I love the colour scheme; while i agree that a vivid colour can really work on some minis, there are times that a limited palette helps a mini stand out from the rest.

Great work as ever, and I love that armour highlight. :)

like in the title Jade Hawk Finished - mini painted in experimental way - with oli paints controary to Acrylic 1
good part - Vivid colors
bad - insanly glossy
end dry a week
(this photo is taken after varnishing - it is glosy - but not as crazy as before :P)

hope you like her

Looking really good.
I think that's a successful experiment.

I think she looks superb; what prompted you to try oils rather than acrylics? :D

Interesting, and makes perfect sense when you say that. :)

I remember reading an old White Dwarf article about using oil paints around 25+ years ago, but to be honest I will never have the patience or courage to do so myself. Kudos to you as ever. :)

o end beside that oils got much more saturated colors no mater if you delute it strongly or applay raw - it is same color end same strong saturation - beside that White oil paint is realy good no granulaton dusty effect
beside they dry in like a dey so you mey blend them on model mix paint end iven change your mine end whipwwclean paint ... thats also down part - minatures dry like hell long end cach all hair end dust on them ..
