Nice job Leon. i like the basing on Ace very much. The sculls are a nice touch.

Your Six Feet Under is pretty menacing. The extra time you took on the details really shows. Tangent turned out well too, especially her pants.

Thanks for the comments, mate. :)

Ace's base is actually a bit of a scratch build - using pieces from the GW WH40K basing kit. Back when I put the mini together I was too excited (read: impatient!) to wait for the resin bases I had ordered, hence I had to make one. I thought it turned out okay, but doesn't quite fit my urban basing theme. I have since touched up the base to add a bit of OSL around the green spent shells on the ground.

I am hoping my painting is improving. I think I have made more improvement in 12 months than at any time in the last 20+ years of my hobbying.

I see improvement in your work!

I know that Pulp City has made me a better and more bold painter. I'm willing to try new techniques and ideas. It is very liberating to have single models that do not need to match anything.

I wouldn't worry about the OSL on the casings. They would give off very little light I would think and it could easily become too overstated.

I plan on taking some new photos soon and posting some figures I have not yet shared. I'm also now working on Mysterious Man and Xenobi.

Wow Leon that a nice crop of figs!

Hellsmith is... well... Demonic. I approve of this. Not sure about the purple plume but who's gonna call Hellsmith on his color choices?

Love the sentry bots, they came out great.

Nuclear Jones looks very sharp. You pulled him off nicely.

Thanks. :D

Re: Hellsmith's plume - the purple is something that will feature on more and more of my villains to tie them together.

Similarly there are a lot of my heroes that feature both red and blue (Trail, Solar, Nuclear Jones, Ace, Blood Rose, so far).

o red hellsmith - hym looks like from Diablo game
about Nuclear Jones, Androida::
if you go for NMM - all is about contrasts - it must be sharp as a knife - or you get a "plastic feel" (some times desired if you make a new military guns made from polimers )

Thanks for the tip - I am still learning with both NMM and OSL techniques, so I have plenty of way to go, but any advice is welcome - thanks.

I tend to push all my nmms to pure white no matter what's the metal, even if it's not completely realistic, it does make it look SHINY!

Nice work on Seabolt. Making him all water is a nice option, and the surfboard turned out well. I also like the palm trees on the shirt. Nice touch.
