Ok, here he is (nearly finished) my first Mini of any type for a long while (so please be kind LoL).

I wanted to do Solar first as he is a "classic" styled Superhero.

I also wanted him fairly "bright" - but I felt reds and yellows would be "cheesy" combined with blue (for obvious reasons) so I went for an overall cool look of blues and white.

Just need to finish the shading on the leg muscles and do the base now. The Mrs thinks I should do Iron Train next, but I am leaning towards Ace of Wraiths atm.

Looking nice so far - I really like the colour palette.

Good luck with whichever you choose! :)

Not Pulp City - but the Spinespur "Thugs" (the biker and the army dude) might make nice "Henchmen".

You could also use Doc Akron (great mini - I will finish mine one day) as a Solo Minion using the create your own (BOOM) Minions rules: here.

Note that these rules are being modified still, so will be slightly different when the rulebook comes out (the main current changes are: all Minion actions may end up as a flat Ap 1 per action per card of Minions; Level 2 Minions now have 4 not 6 build points).

I don't have one either yet, but I am trying!

Here is a link to the mini in question.

Morf mentioned a few months ago he planned a contest to win a Herald for those nota normally able to get hold of one; so hopefully that won't be too far away.

DAMN thats nice!

I actually have "issue" when companies do this, sure its nice to reward those who put themselves out to promote a game. But what about those who either can't or don't have the time - its so irritating knowing your collection will never be complete, y'know?

You play Spinespur too - superb! (Nice blog btw - I've started following it).

Do you know if they are planning a miniature for June Summers, and what mini's do you use for Pulp City Cops?

Having a collector-mentality myself, I know what you mean; but if Morf follows up on his suggestion of holding an open contest to win one, that seems to add a fairness that I don't think many other companies would offer.

The mini was one of the things that pushed for me to apply to become a Herald.

I don't play (yet - you never know!), I just have a few of the minis so far.

There is a June Summers mini; it was a promo last year (resin), I have one so far but if I end up with spares I'll let you know. There have been plans of wider relase discussed, but nothing concrete yet.

As for cops, I use West Wind cops, I *think* from their Road Kill range.

I would LOVE to commit to being a Herald, but with my Dad (he's 90 this year) being infirm and my own health not being too "sharp" I can't :(

I can't believe I missed the Jane Summers promo grrr LoL.

Just planning some purchases atm, going for Heavy Metal with regards to heroes, and a Necroplane/Forgotten 'mix' of Villains!

I want everything, but I'm trying to be good - painting things before buying more (though it generally doesn't happen LoL)

Re: purchase planning, I don't know if this will help, but the following teams can be made up to Level 12 (meaning Level 3 models can be used):

Heavy Metal
- C.O.R.E. (L3)
- Nuclear Jones (L2)
- Iron Train (L2)
- Dr. Mercury (L2)
- Chronin (L1)
- Androida (L1)
- Gentleman (L1; using Merc)

Unaligned Heroes
- Dead eye (L3; creates a team bonus for using aligned Supremes)
Any 3 of:
- Solar (L2)
- Ace of Wraiths (L2)
- Trail (L2)
- Father Oak (L2)
And any 3 of:
- Acorn (L1)
- Harrier (L1)
- Gentleman (L1; using Greed)
- Kitty Cheshire (L1 I think; using new skill - Freelancer; available in the next wave)

Unaligned Villains:
- Mysterious Man (L3)
Any 3 of:
- Seabolt (L2)
- Tangent (L2)
- Nuke (L2)
- Father Oak (L2)
And any 3 of:
- Acorn (L1)
- Xenobi (L1)
- Gentleman (L1)
- Sister Bedlam (L1)
- Kitty Cheshire (L1 I think; using new skill - Freelancer; available in the next wave)

Necroplane should I think be managable as Level 12 after the next wave (with some use of Merc)

Black Cat Bases do some fairly nice US Cops (6 different), a fairly ugly chick with a Mobile Phone (I suppose I could proxy as Jane Summers), and a guy taking a picture (as a Reporter maybe?).

They also do Telephone Booths, Manhole Covers and the like.

The quality of sculpts "varies" but if you pick and choose - there is some nice stuff to be had!

I picked up the Black Cat phone booths (resin) and fire hydrants (white metal) - all were badly cast, so I advise caution.

With the cops, you won't need too many, even if doing Corrupted Cops and Pulp City Cops seperately.

As for June what about this one? It scales well with Pulp City minis.

Leisure Games list it out of stock, but Allsorts Emporium have it (link).

Plus ALL the WorldWorks Paper Terrain!

I would STILL RATHER have the proper Jane Summers LoL

Maybe PM Morf and see if he can help.
