Finished! I re-did the leg muscles, so the shading is a little more subtle, I pretty much left the arms and torso as was (but added a last subtle highlight) as I liked it looking that dynamic (for want of a better word). The base looked great untill I took the picture, and realized the copper piping looked like a giant Hot-Dog LoL! Linda wants me to do Iron Train next, so I've started him (and undercoated Ace of Wraiths ready).

I like the Solar. He looks good. You got nice depth with the blues and the face turned out very well. My understanding for June Summers was that she was a Gencon promo moel, but would eventually be available on the web-store. Send Morf a note snd he might be able to help you out. She should eventually be availabe to the general public. I use Copplestone cops as seen here:

The thing is I really REALLY don't like the idea of over shading/over highlighting a Super-Hero Miniature. I prefer the "four colour comic" look (plus the flash bleached things a little and made the copper pipe look like a hot dog). I don't like non-metallic metals (they just look grey to me) or taking things up to white (it just looks dusty). I tend to "paint" to whats appropriate to the model. Like this Felix Jaeger I painted for a guy, he wanted it crisp so I did it crisp. Whereas these Army of the Dead for another customer I did a little more "raggedy" looking. But with this Rezolution Arashi, I went back to bright and cheerful again. I've been working on Iron Train and Androidia (in between bouts of pain with my hands), Iron Train is very "oily" looking - but I'm keeping Androidia as neat and shiney as possible.

I really like your work on the army of the dead. Don't let us crack the whip too much. Take your time and we'll be patient to see your next project.
