Joy of Joys - I'm re-painting the front part of Trails cloak (quickly before cooking dinner).
When I got back I found him on the floor CHIPPED!
It's such a waste of time!

Chipped miniatures definitely suck... but they're just a part of the hobby, right?
And better a miniature in progress than one that's finished.

As I mentioned before, I wasn't keen on Skylines Base - so, without further delay - I present - SKYLINE EXTREME! As you can see, the new base is much more impressive (though still as precariously balanced)! I have NO IDEA WHY, but the cloak looks more blue in the new picture LoL!

That is a hell of a base - great LOS for snipers! Great work D-W.

LoL!
Skyline is ALREADY at that disadvantage stuck on top of the bloody Gargoyle!
What I really want is to do another Skyline, but heavily converted to be in a standing pose.

I tried painting Trail very early on, but the colour scheme went completely wrong so I stripped him, rebased and undercoated him - and put him away. Not the best thing I've ever painted - but at least its another one finished LoL!

Just Chillin' with the Family this afternoon - a bit of writing ("Shadows over Pulp City"), watching TV (we just watched Iron Man again, I think my Dads getting a taste for Superhero Movies now).
I'm thinking of trying to do some "quickies" tonight - Dr Mecury, and a couple of Security Bots (maybe do a little more work on Harrier, and start the washes on Mourn).
But like I said, Just Chillin' . . . . .
How about everyone else Hobby Wise?

Not a Lot to Report . . . . . Not desperately successful Hobby-Wise (more hassles to sort out) - so a quiet night (apart from chatting to HendyBadger about Shadows over Pulp City and Miniatures Painting by Email). I've ordered (well Linda did LoL) some new Brushes and Puttys - and some new Fenris Bases to try. A selection of "Tech" Bases for my "Not Blakes 7" Miniatures by Crooked Dice - and some City Streets Bases for Pulp City in general. I've only really used the Fenris "toppers" before, apart from when creating my own and molding them with Instant Mold - so I'm looking forward to the "change" really. Hopefully do some bits tomorrow after doing Dads plumbing, ordering our new Cooker, and all the other chores/jobs that need doing - AND sorting out Dads medication/hospital visits for the next few weeks (then hopefully I might get some time to myself). I really wanted to get cracking on Dr Mercury and the four Security Bots I have, but its not been happening the last few days at all. I hate it when I get no painting/modelling done, I find it really frustrating to be frank!
