So after the terrible knocked down of the Pulp-Store I went to my LGS and caught the rest of the stock.
Without plan of building a good synergy Hero-Gang and even not my favorite ones I painting Father Oak and Acorn.
Here are my results

The butterfly is a french one , of course he is red/white/blue like the Tricolore, the french Flag.

Father Oak following soon, and some other figures, just when they arrive from the Pulp-Store

Alwasy nice to see more painted minis posted; I like the colour chhoices on the dress and the buitterfly (both distinctive), and I like the base showing Nature reclaiming the earth. Thanks for sharing. :)

So the varnish is dry and I could take some Photos
here they are

father Oak:

I don´t like the rush-like-the-windPose of this Tree, so I re-positioned him onto both feet

simultan I moddelled toe number six on both feet.
I like the ENTS from "Lord of the Rings" smashing down some walls, so I grab the toes of father Oak around the Base and into some ruins of an Improvement or some Urban-details, doesn´t matter what it was before, now it is down, gown and re-grown with Nature...("reclaimed by the nature" is the right wording, isn´t it ?)

Unfortunatly after modelling Feet and Toes , father Oak looks like being shot and tumbling down on his rear.
So I saw into his back shortly over his hips and curved his body into a straight position and filled it up with Milliput (some kind of green stuff) . Now he looks a bit like a Quaterback , only the ball is missing....

Next: Mission-Markers.... Lead the wounded soldiers to your deploymentzone...

MissionMarkers :

They are from Wargame Foundry, but still works with Pulp
The Mission is:
Save more wounded soldiers and lead them to your deploymentzone.
To do so, you have to be BtB with one Sldier. He is always on your side, But you could only do one Movement action , even if you "pass" the Soldier to a team member
As a Villain:
You are allowed to shot at your opponents soldiers

As a Hero.
The only way to stop your opponents Soldiers is a BtB-Strike :STR

Stop speaking: Here are my results:

Just needed a good terrain to do so.

but this is not in progress until yet.

First finishing some "hired guns" from foundry too
And I am hoping , my Figures from the e-mail ordered PulpHQ arrives soon, so I can start painting the important Figures for the game.

Nice to have missionmarkers but still lacks a Level One Supreme to do a level4 encounter

Of course Father Oak and Acorn were the only ones I could bought at my LGS :(

Thanks for reading

Those are great. I like your ideas and your work is top notch.

"reclaim nature" is correct.

I think the repositioning of Father Oak works really well; nice work there. :)

They are from Wargames foundry too.

this time I report about my efforts of building terrain for Pulp.

I have already some other TT-Games, so there are a couple of terrain features still in my fundus

regulary we are playing upon a green Carpet , normally used for balcony or Patio

then we set some PVC-flooring to have a wide base for our forest , on the top we set some trees. thei are single so you can remove them easily to get space for your miniatures.

File comment: just green carpet

Post subject:  Re: Painting Pulp->Nirmo´s WIP Terrainbuilding

So my plan is a scenery about a chemical Industrie ( I add some terrain from Infinity)

I have to putt on some Posters on the Walls and Windows into the container
there are three cars waiting for being pimped that they fit in this playingground

It starts with an outdoor balcony ceiling

Followed by a sand / green area set down.
I decided to reduce them to add some containers and then some pipelines

scenery could be : need more Parkingspace for the factory
Villains: cut all trees. the three ruined trees only counts half victory points

Heroes: destroy all fences to let the treehuggers in

More details will follow, when I finished my big tree as Main-Mission-Marker

Post subject:  Re: Painting Pulp->Nirmo´s WIP Terrainbuilding

Okay the little red tractor is completly new, so I have to "older him"
Here are my results of todays conversion:

I put him down on a individual wooden Base just to make sure it works with the rules for BtB and Movement and so on

you could pull him off if you like. and the wording "Joghurt" is a sort of napkin decoupage ( I cut the word smothly from a commercial of a magazin , and clue it on the Tankwagon ).
Some brushes later it seems to be there since many years...
I´ll do the varnish / gloss tomorrow, today it is very frosty outside, so it doesn´t work outside my room
(don´t like to see pink elefants if I´ll do it inside my flat).

Thanks for showing them. :)

Have you considered using some washes for extra definition? Just a small number of colours really helps, or even very thin acrylic paint. Stuff like GW Devlan Mud or Vallejo Umbra wash can be used on a very wide array of minis to add some extra shading. :)
