Here's mine, a 2x2 board, MDF base, painted black, corkboard floor tiles painted grey and dusted with white for the sidewalk/footpath and some houses from the club on top (CNC's Miniature Scenery line):

Mine are pretty modular. The urban boards are roughly 12" x 12" squares with pavements etc. made from cork and thin card. Larkin Vain and Hjelmen did their own boards in a similar style which in turn inspired me.

Most buildings are Ziterdes; the river is Pegasus; the cargo containers are from Tablescape as are the trees.

Definatly inspiring me to get to work on mine

I haven't played PC nearly enough, trying to find these pics I realised it's almost been a year since my last game, must make up for that soon.

Anyway here's the board I used the last time I played:

And an in-game shot:

Old school 7" Worldworks Mayhem tiles & buildings (with some embellishments of my own design), giving me a play area of 28"x28" overall, 1:43 scale toy cars from wherever I find them, concrete barriers are from Antenociti's Workshop as are the blue & green bins, the yellow bin and rubbish pile are from Ainsty and the street lamps are from Fenris.

I have a number of ideas for new boards, hopefully I'll get to make them soon.

This seems to be the best place to ask-
What do people think the best scale of vehicle is to use?

I'm really liking those, especially for the price. Might have to get some and they can pull double duty in pulp city and also the slums of earth for infinity.

I prefer 1:43 scale for cars. Trucks/lorries I go by the look, sometimes 1:43 works, sometimes it looks a little small and 1:50 looks better.

1:32 has been mentioned to me. Would that be far too big?

1:32 works out at 54mm scale, so yes that would probably be enormous.

To be fair I normally just go with whatever looks "about right". I'm not too fussed if the seats are a bit small, cause I know they're not normally done to a particular scale. I just go and buy whatever is cheap in places like Asda. Picked up some cars today that are probably about right and £2.37 each.

I'd rather do that than spend a lot of money on cars that are the right scale, and only have a marginal difference between them.

Might have to head off to Asda later then.
Will see what I find
