I'm keeping a close eye on the site over the week and will share the link as soon as it's up.
Might need to add another board myself aswell. Running out of room already

Mine are pretty modular. The urban boards are roughly 12" x 12" squares with pavements etc. made from cork and thin card. Larkin Vain and Hjelmen did their own boards in a similar style which in turn inspired me.

Most buildings are Ziterdes; the river is Pegasus; the cargo containers are from Tablescape as are the trees.

Urban style zone:

Did those containers come premade and prepainted?

Any doeas anyone know where to get hold of an urban river of canal?

The conatainers are solid one piece foam blocks. They are pre-painted in the colours you see. They are by Tablescape, and I believe you can request colour selections if you get in touch with them. Around £15 GBP for 3.

Suitable for 7TV era as well, and modern and near future since containers have been in service since the 1950's.

On the canal/river you have me stumped.

This one (in the Battle Report) has 'earth' banks, so may 'do' for urban, especially if placed across a green strip beneath it. It is by Pegasus Hobbies.

Im looking for something more along the lines of the city canals or american overflow waterways.

Going for a search!

They look really useful. And can be laid out in a million different ways!

There is alot more to add though. Im working on roads, a canal and lots of rank 1 and 2 objects at the moment.
The fountain and staue plinth need finishing aswell. But the top for one of them arrived today.

Here is it then. Pulp City's Southwest corner
What do yu think?

I do like the set-up - but honestly think a little more colour variation on the buildings would not go amiss. :)

I'd consider a palette of greys and/or browns.

I used a couple of different red-browns for my brick buildings, a tan brown for another that had cream render parts, and a sandstone type of brown for my clock tower.

Even though those buildings in this report are from card, you can see some nice colour variations as a source of inspiration:

Also check out the buildings in this thread:
