Yeah I am trying to avoid the whole "firing corridor" thing that many modern boards end up suffering

The playing surface is 3x3. The blacked out areas are 6in sections for cards, dice, tokens etc as I always hate seeing these clutter up a nice table! I have thought about giving these areas a felt surface eventually but not sure if I'll bother.

Been making incremental progress on this table from time to time. Heaps of little bits of work been done so far so just a quick couple of shots.

I also grabbed a couple of animated billboards from http://www.microstru.com/ and they look fantastic! Video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lMK_MyGVgk&feature=youtu.be

Still a long way to go but it is starting to look like something!

Absolutely stunning... makes me want to take my various pieces of terrain and build a REAL table!

I picked up this Cars 2 jet on sale today and plan on turning it into a X-Jet/Blackbird type vehicle for Heavy Metal. Unpainted Sgt Bale poses for scale.

I already removed the sticker with the eyes on it and might try to cut out the solid plastic behind the windshield. There is also a mouth under the nose that I need to file back and fill in. I probably won't get onto this until a later date, but I think it was a pretty cool find! It even has an interior!

That's an awesome find. Looks great.
Where are the flames on Bale from?
