Hi!

I am starting work on my dream Pulp Table so thought I'd use this thread as a catch all for my Pulp related terrain.

I have been using a couple of tables made with Worldworks stuff and it has been awesome to use, but now I am keen to build something a bit more traditional. I have been collecting pieces and plan to use a combo of scratchbuilt and bought items. I plan to have each building with a playable interior and LED lighting, so not having to scratch build everything will save me some time!

Anyway I will keep this thread updated when I finish off some more stuff!

Here is a test piece I did for seeing what my curbs might look like. Hopefully I can pick up my boards today or tomorrow to get the ball rolling. The method I decided on worked real well with this piece so I think I'll go with this look.

I am going to paint or at least weather all the cars as I think they'll blend in better with the minis that way. I already did a couple of them and they look MUCH better.

The palms are Pegasus hobbies palms and I think they will sell the late 80s Miami/California vibe I am going for with my board. They also come with handy pegged bases so can be easily removable for 6FU to :STR smash folks with them!

So, what did you use for the blocks/curbs? That's what's been holding me back is coming up with an idea to use as blocks/curbs.

It looks great!!!

I used foamed PVC. I need to source more locally, but http://www.antenocitisworkshop.com/sells it

The cars are all 1:43 scale, mostly by New Ray. The building is a Sarrisa Precision building

Basically I used this method: http://www.thelazyforger.com/tutorials/how-to-sculpt-a-paved-road-part-1/ but used foamed PVC instead of MDF.

Some work done on the board today. I still need to add the traffic islands/planters where the palms are, then comes painting! I took some tutorial shots for the curb, I'll post them when I have more time!

Just out of curiosity, what is the small building near the fenced off container?

It's a adobe building from Sarrisa's wild heroic west range. It will soon be a taco stand

Cheers. :)

Can we get some shots when Taco'ed up (and why I am thinking of that Reservoir Dogs line: "Let's get a taco"?). :)
