I know that Ghaz chronicled the makings of some (possibly all) of his pulp boards on this forum, but I think his picture links went dead. Since they will be making repeat appearances in my future battle reports I figured it a good idea to post some better shots back onto the forum. Here they are in all their pulp glory. Apologies for Nuclear Jones being such a camera hog... something about that guy when the press shows up... I suppose we start at the beginning with the Beach/Boardwalk! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() everything is magnetized, from the kayak and the benches to a few key rocks on the jetty. anything that could be thrown was labeled with points (from the original rule-set). The Beach leads on to the mini-gulf course! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() All of the elements to the holes are magnetized to be thrown. Lets face it, who wouldn't want to throw a giant chicken at their opponent? The mini-gulf course leads into the parking lot! ![]() ![]() Not much to show here since the lot changes based on how one sets up the vehicles. And lastly the parking lot leads onto the science lab! Which you can see in action here... viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2337 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Just down right awesome! nearly every piece is magnetized to be thrown, smashed or blown to pieces! Lastly, a few shots of the first three boards linked up! ![]() ![]() Hope you like them, they certainly make my job easier getting new recruits into the game! |

My local FLGs in a Ghost Town Brother, seriously. They've already let me down over so many things. |

I lucked out in being able to help the guys set up shop. Right down to helping them put up the walls and building a custom painting bar in the front window. So no let down there, I consider all the owners as good friends! Which does wonders for getting to manifest a lot of my gaming projects! |

Time (with having a 90 year old to look after) is a factor for me too, but I'll get there. |

Yep, that's exactly what we do. I figure as long as you put 18" between deployment zones, you have all the opportunities you need! Though the boardwalk and mini-gulf are really dependent on playing the 2' sided as deployment, otherwise someone is deploying on the boardwalk, or in the clubhouse. So I would generally save those for making a 3'x4' board when played together. |
