Hi everybody, I'm a veteran gamer and hobbyist, and I'm finally walking my first steps in the Pulp City universe. I've known the game and its amazing models for a few years, but never took the time to really look into it in depth...until the Kickstarter campaign: I just couldn't resist anymore I'm really looking forward to getting all those models in september, but until then, I decided to slap paint on some models to make the wait easier... And since I'm a very slow painter, that means about 3 or 4 models before my Kickstarter models arrive Anyways, here's my first Pulp city model, Dr Mercury. I wanted to perfect my skills with NMM, but I ended up using techniques used when painting jewels. It ended up darker than what I first intended, but I'm satisfied with the overall result. Comments welcomed!

Lovely painting, excellent work IMHO. I can't wait to see what else you come up with. And welcome aboard.

Thanks for the comments! Next on the workbench: Boreas. And there's also some scenery I'm working on.

Wow... I know I'm late in joining in on this but I have to comment! That's one of, if not the most, awesome Dr Mercury I've seen done. Really stunning!

helo Quote: the Kickstarter campaign: I just couldn't resist anymore good Quote: . I wanted to perfect my skills with NMM, but I ended up using techniques used when painting jewels. so you ended with plumbum chromium is a bit difficult it is easy with oil paints but with acrylic at 80% of painting it looks bad it start to look correct at last 15 minutes tilt this moment chromium looks awful ^-^ base is a bit lackluster

Small update: I'm almost finished with Boreas. Base needs to be done, and I might try to get some final highlights here and there, and then get proper pictures taken. But in the meantime...
