Hey Guys,

Been a long time since I was around these parts but as I've gone all in for the Collectors pledge on the new KS, I thought it was about time to start a new thread to show my progress in getting these guys finished.

So without further ado I will present some old and some new paint jobs:

That's the old starters done with the exception of Nuke/Ace/Gorilla who all have new sculpts.

@Bubba Ho-Tep - Actually, it's swings and roundabouts because I have to be careful to not get paint on them while I'm working, so that slows me down a bit.

The original idea behind the clear bases as opposed to city ones, was that PC can be played in any environment, so clear bases meant my supremes wouldnt look out of place on mars or in a jungle.

Really nice stuff, I love the clean lines you've got on those.

And yeah, I can relate... keeping paint off of a base that you don't intend to paint is tough! I had the same problem with my zombicide characters!

Just pin them and glue them to the base after painting. That makes things easier.

Love the paint work and the clear bases look fantastic.

What glue do you use?

@LGW - These were all "based" a couple of years ago so I couldn't tell you want I was using then, but it will have been a cyanoacrylate. I now use Gale Force 9 Hobby Glue, which is the same stuff but I tend to find it dries clearer (although all of them generate a small amount of white residue).

I tend to paint my minis in separate pieces so a clearer drying glue is important if I dont want to have to repainted glued areas.

@Demagoge - They are pinned but I tend to prefer holding onto a base when I'm painting... force of habit I guess. I'll find a way around it when I have more PC minis to practise on.

You could use painter's tape on the bases to help keep you from accidentally getting paint on them

Painter's tape?

I assume it's designed to come off without leaving a residue?

That could be a brilliant solution!
