Very refreshing!
It's just a Solar I've never seen before!

That is an excellent mini. I think the underlighting and overall execution are very effective.

The OSL effect of fire below the mini gives it a very original touch. Congratulations!!!

Nice job. Actually my favorite part isd the face. It is nicely detailed and subtle. That is a very nice mini.

Please keep sharing your projects. We'd love to see more.

Very classy touch. The idea is original and simple, but the execution is top notch. Great job. :)

Love the OSL. The paint job is very orignal.

So what's the trick to attaching him to his cape?

His head fits through the cape and you simply glue the cape to his neck. Put glue on the underside of the cape piece when you do and your good to go.

You can also adjust his position so Solar's heels touch the cape and you can glue them to the cape for more durability.

I was trying to find good points to pin him to his cape so he will travel well?

This is what I went with for both of my Solars. I haven't tried the 'travel test'.

Use green stuff and glue then. The glue will set and keep the model in place will the GW cures.
