The leather effect is very well rendered.

I really like your minis Batman, and your photography is excellent in my view. Have you thought of writing your own tutorial on this forum?

Solar looks very nice - some of your friend modelled for him, Batman?
But, as color goes, there's this one little question that have been bugging me - what in Solar's name, fluff nad powers inspire people to dress him in red & blue?

He is kind of the Superman stand-in for the game, so far. Fast, strong, tough, flying, ranged energy attack, etc. And the red and blue is just too iconic to resist sometimes.

I'm still trying to figure out what paint scheme I will go with for mine, and keep drifting back to Superman's colors, or those of his clones (Hyperion, Captain Marvel, Miracleman, etc.)

I'm more of a Blood Watch fan at the moment, but if I will get any non-affiliated supreme in future I guess it will be Solar. As of painting him - in some battle reports I saw yellow with red cape - too much contrast for me. I will play with some image editor and try to see different options, but I think white cotume with yellow cape would do him good (origin and powers wise).

Funny you should mention that...but it is what I am doing for my second Solar. In this case the colour scheme is inspired by Lightray from the New Gods. But we are hijacking Batman's thread here, so apologies.

Fantastic idea Batman. It is one of those that you wonder on seeing it why no-one did it earlier, and the answer is that a moment of inspired brilliance was needed - great stuff.

My brother was thinking about the same thing, as soon as he'd get his Gentleman :) I was thinking it would not work for a latino guy. Seems I was wrong :)
