Hi everybody, is it just me or does anybody else think that it would be awesome if we could play a Pulp City rpg (PBEM)? If somebody is up to organize and run it, I would love to play it, it would be also awesome to get all the folks of the forum interacting as the characters that we already love. I'll be DEADEYE by the way, in case it happens ,saw it first !!!!!

What system? If we did Aberrant I could run it, but it's not a popular system any more.
What about GURPS supers?

M&M would be my first choice. Course then I'd just HAVE to pick up the new 3rd Edition.

What about GURPS supers? I was actually thinking about using the PC cards' stats to resolve actions, since everybody is already used to the system, but them it would be unbalanced..., I think we should try something simple, like the SAGA system, what do you guys think?

I've never done a PBEM but I'd be interested to be part of it.

Du know, I've been a Games Master since 1977 - I've even run Games for Don Turnbull (head of TSR UK) but I have NEVER run a Game Online!

Wow!!! on the year that I was born you were already slaying beholders!!!! About the PULP CITY PEBEM, I think that we could even use the forum to play it, so the GM could send a pm to any character involved in an action where he doesn't want the other players to aknowledge it

LoL! A Youngling!
I've been looking at the Pulp City Rules, we could happily use them with an adequate Character Generation System and Skill List.

I mentioned it in the past that I'm willing (and entirely able to) help write some custom rules for use of the Pulp City info as an RPG.

Sorry Varagon, missed it.
Skills arent a problem, Silver Age Sentinels (for example) has a brilliant skill list for Supers.
Its Character Generation.

Its Character Generation. You're right. We can find lists all over the place. It's how to make a fair and even rule system with the lists and information we do have available.

Sooooooooo..... who's going to RUN THE GAME ?! We could also limit the game to levels 1 and 2 for better balance
