On the front page it says easy to start only 3+ miniatures to play. That got my interest right away because I don't like buying and painting an entire army for games. But I am wondering what the average army size will be?

Also what will the price range be to get into the game and per mini?

The starter packs will have 4-5 minis each and that will be just enough to play a decent game - though will provide some scenarios for even smaller teams. Games with 6-7 Supremes (term to describe both Villains and Heroes) are the most enjoyable.

One thing worth mentioning: you assemble your team before the game and on top of Supremes you can "buy" Resources (it is a separate pool). The Resources are guns, boost, gizmos and sometimes Minions. These could be either corrupted cops, innocent bystanders or more unique like Red Riding Hoodoo's Zombie Wolf.

So there will be cases when along Supremes you will run extra 2-3 miniatures.
But it is the Supremes that dominate the game and it was never meant to be swarm game.

Also, the team composition for regular Encounters prevents huge size disproportions between teams.

As for prices, I'd not like to speculate but I assume that nobody will be surprised. To start playing the game, you just buy your box and basic rules come for free.

I'd say very end of August and from September they will be pretty regular.

As the game progresses, I'd love to see other languages.
In fact, I consider German/French/Spanish quickstart rules in the very near future.
I will not forget about the fellow citiziens either 8)

The demo/playtest rules for applying members of the forum will be available in October.

Any word on a release date? This game is a cool idea with great potential. I'm eager to see how it turns out. The minis look great.

Hello Blackclad,
thank you!
The boxes (starters) are set to release in February and so far there is no delay.

Thanks for the prompt response. I already have visions of grand heroic battles with the fate of the world, nay, the multiverse, at stake! ;)

39$-49$ and that's still dependant on the international currency trends, if dollar keeps dropping down and good alloys keep getting more expensive, well, you know how it works!

Welcome Neo!

Glad you found the site. If you have any questions for me, let me know as I've done some playtesting.

Also, if you make it over to Gorilla Con with DC and Jess, you'll get a full fledged demo, and I'd love to have you there for some Warmachine/Hordes tournaments!
