This Is Pulp City is the sixth and final ?single? from Pulp City ? The Soundtrack (August 18, 2009 / Bailey Records) which is a collaborative effort by TW Cory (aka Capt. Futura) and Stratos and features themes, cues, and compositions highlighting the various locations and factions found within the fantastic world of Pulp City.

?Take a walk down the crowded Sunset Blvd. Pulp City is as hot and humid as Miami before a storm. Pulp City is as dangerous as New York City before Giuliani. Crave for the sea breeze and the shade of palm trees and pray you don?t end up in the middle of a clash between Villains and Heroes.?

This excerpt from the Pulp City Player?s Guide and notes from Pulp City creator, Maciej ¯ylewicz, was the inspiration for Pulp City - The Soundtrack?s title theme. This sound machine track was TW Cory?s first composition for the project and helped fuel the rest of the soundtrack.

??get your Heroes and Villains out on the streets and fight for supremacy?? ?This Is Pulp City! Visit http://www.pulp-city.com for more details.

This is Pulp City is part of the Amazing Universe catalog (superheroic / pulp action music) from Bailey Records Composition and Sound Design. Additional Amazing Universe catalog songs include the Amazing Universe ? The Superheroic Music EP (Bailey Records, August 15, 2006).

having at last listened to the whole soundtrack I must say I like it's crime fighting time and no escape from the villaneous the most.

I would love to hear songs that blend these two, it's crime fighting time has this whole Miami vice etc. things vibe, and the other reminded me immediately of some videogame music from the 80s/90s (specifically.. megaman x, as cool as it gets in videogame music IMHO :)) as in my head that would be a perfect fit.

with lurking in the black I constantly expected it to "break loose" if you know what I mean ? especially around 4:40

in my own band days (as a singer.. or rather grunter(wich is a funny thing when you see me in person:p.) I was in a hardcore/metal band that had long intros comparable to lurking in the black, but then switched the pace (but with more bass.. we were considering using 2 bass players, one melodic one rhytm.) and loudyness.

either way good stuff :)

So... thanks to TW Cory and Stratos (who are hell of a creative team and cool guys to boot that), I got my CD and it played through all GenCon while we were driving. Really good stuff, we were all loving it!
