Saw this last night; finished a 13 hour shift and met up with most of my Thursday night gaming group at the cinema with reasonable expectations.

Wow.

Those expectations I had? Surpassed and then some. Great cast; some genuine surprises; some great action sequences; moments of humour that had the whole cinema laughing - two key moments with Hulk were hilarious (and intentionally so!).

And do,, do stay for the couple of minutes necessary after the initial post-film credits - it is worth it for anyone with some Marvel knowledge.

Possibly my favourite super-hero film ever. I want to see this again - NOW!

I will watch it next weekend with 19 graduating seniors on our senior trip. Don't spoil anything!

I can't wait!

Avoid spoilers at all costs; there are some key moments that could be ruined by spoilers which is why I think any plot synopsis is quite unhelpful.

I loved it. :)

I'm really hoping my fiance and I can find the time to see it next weekend...

It blew my expectations out of the water too. I was expecting it to be very good, but not as amazing as it turned out to be! I haven't had that much fun in the cinema in a long time! Whedon got the balance of all the elements just right and gave the flick a ton of heart which drove the whole thing.

Seeing it again tomorrow night :D
