Okay, I have never photographed miniatures in this way before, so I will try and improve my photography skills in the next few months, but this allows me to start my own thread, so without further ado: EDIT: three photographs removed, one added.

Thanks for sharing Leon. I like the glowing eyes in your Mourn's cloak.

I think they look excellent if you "look through" the photo quality! Like your take on Bedlam, still thinking about to how paint my gaming one. Tempted to go for Cobra Emperor one.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I need to practice, practice and practice some more on my photography.
If I manage to improve my photography I will try to get some better pictures to replace these.

Even just shrinking the pics a bit will make them clearer. They look good!

batman wrote: I really like your harrier, the purple is awesome. Thanks. I was less than happy with the first results, hence the addition of the white trim. I took the idea that you see for some comic book characters (like Marvel's Radioactive Man for example) where the skin tone is reflected in the costume. Unfortunatley what works on the printed page doesn't work so well on a sculpted mini - for example the skin shading was too close in colour to the costume. You live and you learn, so I know I won't try that one again.

Invader Larb wrote: Much better photography! Thanks. After re-reading a couple of tutorials I realised a few of my original mistakes: 1. I had the Iso too high rather than going low... 2. I was placing the tripod too far away 3. I wasn't adjusting the f-stop according to need 4. I wasn't taking advantage of the timer
