As probably many of you guys know there is some sort of contest on TGN where the idea is to build a Pulp City team, play with it, paint it and convince others to game with you... At last I'm working on my villains (the ones that will be trashing monkeys or someone else on the sewers I'm building too for the challenge). Today I started working in two of my villains... Nuke (the reason I wanted to start villains) and Hellsmith: Hope you guys enjoy the pictures. Andres

It seems I've misplaced Sister Bedlam's arm, she was my primary model to assemble today Still a long way to go... Three more models and probably I will do some greenstuffing on Tangent and I need a replacement for the robot heads... Andres

That base is going to look phenomenal when painted! Nice work! Can't wait for more. Our local club is basically doing a version of TGN's Battle Challenge; we're in the voting stage at the moment, but I've cheated and skipped ahead.

Very nicely done - the yellow armour and green nuclear 'stuff' work really well. I like the rustyness on the armour, and the base was a winner before you even painted it. Well done.

very nice! I like the yellow-green combination, it's got a very 80's feeling...

Dude, the bronze is dope! How do you end up with a green oxidation like that?

A very evil looking Hellsmith there, and a pretty unique take on the model - well done, and great execution. I guess the oxidisation may be Vallejo Verdigris wash or another green wash of some sort?

Thanks for the comments!
For the bronze I start with a black undercoat. I paint the whole thing copper, then I use a watered down 'emerald green' as a wash for the bronze parts and then dry brush with 'shining gold'. I use this old GW colors that you can currently find as Coat D'Arms paints.
Hope that helps with the bronze!
Andres
