I'm thinking of trying to make Space Invader Pixels using the Hama mini beads and I'm curious if anyone has ever tried using them or the Perler ones.

I've used Pearler beads before to make crafts with my nieces. Pretty simple to use.

I'm actually more concerned if the beads are too big.

They arent tiny. If you want them to be small the perer beads might not work. I think your pixels would wind up being about the size of a mini.
