They are great :)

How did you do Yougblood skin? I'm struggling with palid flesh.

Thanks TneNoBushi.

With Youngblood I wanted an off-white skin colour, but with a hint of pink instead of the greyer hue I used for Sanguine. I used a base of Vallejo Extra Opaque heavy Warmgrey which has a bit of punk-purple hue to it. I think mixed in Vallejo Silvergrey fro highlights.

Awesome work on VH & YoungBlood.
Can't believe you have painted so many minis to such a high quality.

Thanks Carniwar. :)

A couple of years ago I did a picture with every mini I had painted when I had just got past 100 - I may try the same again at 150! :)

I love the contrast between Youngblood and VH. You make one look so very fierce, and the other so lighthearted, and yet with the colours you chose, they'd probably look quite at home next to each other on the table.

Oh man, that VH is fantastic! The expression on her face is just perfect and you nailed the suit and the colours. Definitely one of my absolute favourites from all your paintjobs.

Really like the skintone on Papa and his pants are exquisite! Really good black painting.

And the expression on Mr. Kraken is super sinister. I also really like how you did the water - fits nicely into a city scape looking like an overflowing sewer.

Great stuff!

Cheers. :)

The base was Vallejo Game Color Charred Brown, with a little Reaper Nightshade Purple for shading, and Charred Brown plus some Vallejo Model Color Tan earth for highlights.

I am using Nightshade Purple these days with a lot of dark browns, greys and blues for shading as it is near-black but not quite.
